Every day we make risk-based decisions, all while trying to maintain the forward movement of our organizations. For many, this involves several moving parts, lots of input from our team, and…some secret sauce to help the process along. Aviation, by nature, brings with it a need to manage and accept a higher risk than in most industries. We all work hard every day to manage that risk and apply good risk-mitigation strategies to keep things safe.
We’ll discuss leadership challenges faced by organizations that assume elevated risk by the very nature of their mission calling. How do these organizations maintain risk to an acceptable level when faced with adversity and uncertainty? What can leaders do to gain clarity to the culture of the organization, and importantly, how can he or she influence the organizational climate? Join us in the conversation on how we can balance mission accomplishment with an acceptable level of risk in any organization and see what secret sauce you may or may not already have.
