- Adds GE Digital C-FOQA flight safety data to WYVERN’s SMS tool

SAN RAMON, Calif. – September 15, 2023 — GE Digital, an energy software leader, today announced a data sharing agreement with flight safety industry leader WYVERN to integrate data from GE Digital’s C-FOQA (Corporate Flight Operations Quality Assurance) aviation safety solution into WYVERN’s Quality & Safety Management System (QSMS) tool. By combining the data and insights provided by GE Digital’s C-FOQA solution within their existing QSMS tool, WYVERN will be better able to connect the flight safety ecosystem and provide WYVERN clients a more holistic flight safety picture.
SMS tools allow operators to understand risks and hazards that exist in their operations and learn from specific experiences during a flight. GE Digital’s C-FOQA captures, aggregates, and analyzes recorded flight data from the aircraft itself, which can identify further risks and hazards that can be utilized in the SMS process. This new partnership combining these capabilities will provide users of WYVERN’s QSMS tool with insights into not just what happened during a flight, but why it happened. The result of the end-to-end flight safety monitoring enabled by this new partnership will improve flight safety for aviation companies and their customers.
